UK review !!

KERRANG
JOY is mess of radio transmissions and helicopter crashes, schizophrenic breakdowns and metal-plated heads.
It's intense overwhelming aural chaos, sounds thrusting in and out of a passive Listener able only to let it infiltrate and penetrate.
Melody is present, but plays second fiddle to wilful sonic abstraction, intentionally uneasy listening, an antidote to anything that's even mildly catchy.
Yet JOY is a charming album, albeit in the same way as a child who's just dug up and eaten his first earthworm, and there are flashes of brilliance that emerge from beneath the muddy sonic quagmire to make this deliberately challenging experience totally worthwhile.

NME
should be approached with suspicion.
While Motorhead are the only band officially sanctioned to utilise such requisites, we'll forgive My Way My Love because a) they're japanese b) they have a giant washing machine on their website c) although they're not in the same synapse-liquidising league as Lemmy, they're refined racketeers themselves.
In fact, 'JOY' cements the threesome's reputation as something of a Manga Deerhoof - a terrific booming hullabaloo of dislocated, concentrated weirdness that's undoubtedly more ATP than TOTP.
From 'Acupuncture Man', where mutant instigator Yukio Murata appears to be grappling a bear-trap, to 'The Devil Song', which sounds like Mogwai playing Mission:Impossible, it's a ballooning post-grunge scattergram.
We'll call it JOY derision.

So it's all set, we're touring Europe in November, including hitting a bunch
of festivals if all goes as planned! We're gonna blow your mind, your ears,

Ahoy, me hearties!! Friends of My Way My Love all over the world!! Here's a bunch of BIG NEWS comin at you for 2006!

We've got shows coming up in Japan during June and July -- you get your tickets yet?? For those that haven't, send an email to
gomyway@mywaymylove.com and we'll get you on the list. Amongst other booty,
copies of our European release "It is but one of billions of galaxies in your universe" will be for sale at our shows, so bring a piece of eight.
It's been getting lots of rotation from radio stations all over Europe!

My Way My Love recently offered "With a Lxxse Gripp" to Session 6 of the ongoing first-rate tribute to England's charismatic DJ John Peel. Check it out here,
http://www.tributetojohnpeel.org . Bands from around the world have joined in to show their respect for him after his premature death, and we're proud
to throw a fish too.

And one more thing!!
Recently we were swooned by - and signed with - new managent and a new label
in Japan. The label is "Grave yard", created just to support My Way My Love's activities in Japan. "Growing Up" (http://www.g-up.net) is our
bigwig new management. They really fit the bill, it's a great team-up, and I think we're going to be alot more busy in Japan!

Of course, we'll be on an even keel in America and Europe, heck we're gonna kick it up a knotch!

Alright, I'll let this slip too.
My Way My Love's long-awaited new album, armed to the teeth with brand new shanties, will be set loose on August 2nd!
We've a summer tour in Japan, and a fall tour in Europe in the offing!
It's going to be hunky-dory!
